There are two bands named Acid Test:
1) A Canadian alternative rock band in the early 1990s
Acid Test a hybrid mishmash of styles created by jams of musical discovery. Elements of disco, house, funk, grunge, industrial, hip hop, motown, metal, pop and anything else Acid Test could integrate and destroy!! Acid Test disbanded while on tour w/ NIN during the Downward Spiral tour in 1994. Acid Test took a break resting in Vancouver Island while as a backup warmup act for NIN. After the rest, AT had submitted to continue dates on the west coast leg of the Downward Spiral tour for Nine Inch Nails, previously supporting the band in Los Vegas Nevada and on standby at, LA, Palo Alto Calfornia. The group unknowingly, played its last show in Burnaby, British Columbia while awaiting for the word to keep touring.Members Jim Alty, Adam Percy, Steve Fall, Lucy Di Santo soon began to self destruct. After a long wait the now 4 piece
(member Mike Harland went home to clean up his habits)

in Vancouver w/ Ken Hiwatt Marshall.
Lucy Di Santo, Steve Fall continued under various project called ON
In 1997, Fall started an indie label indiestructable and two continue to promote new, establish acts and write and record for various projects.
Thanks to continued fan interest a new Acid Test recording is on the horizon…
