Biography
Acid Baby were formed in 2001 by guitarist Rusty Nail. The band's line-up was gradually completed with vocalist George Stamatis, bassist Mampre Kasardjian and drummer Alex Gavras.
By autumn 2003 the band released their first self-financed mini-CD "Greatest Shit" presenting a unique mix of 60's and 70's hard rock with funk, oriental and modern metal elements.
By springtime 2005 Acid Baby released their second mini-CD "Indecent Exposure". 2 years after their first release the band sounded mature and more experienced. Acid Baby played a great number of concerts in all
well-known Athenian rock clubs and managed to expand their fan base and spread their name as a special rock band.About a year later George Stamatis stepped out and was replaced by Panagiotis Papageorgiou.This line up change signaled a departure from the band's earlier sound , to a heavier style, more accustomed to the new vocalist
Being a band that is always trying to evolve, Acid Baby have decided to experiment with something different. In their forthcoming studio album "The Blind Won't Mind" the band is experimenting with instruments and elements from traditional Greek music, taking their music one step further.
