Akane Liv was born in Gothenburg, Sweden in a family of a Polish-Swedish father and Korean-Japanese mother. She is also the vocalist for LIV MOON. In 2014, she debuted with her solo release with the name AKANE LIV. Her first full album "LIV" was released in the same year.
After graduating from Takarazuka Music School (where she was accepted at the top of the class), she joined Yuki-gumi (Snow group) of Takarazuka Revue Company and made a dazzling debut as Akane Kamizuki.
In 2004, she leaves Takarazuka to study William Shakespeare and singing in England where she was awarded “SINGER OF THE YEAR” at Beckenham Festival (a festival held in London for young classic soloists). After coming back to Japan, she performs in “Jekyll and Hyde,” “Hula Girl” and “Anne of Green Gables (as Anne Shirley)” to fulfill her goals. At the same time, she expands her field by performing solo lives at churches and hotels and meets a music producer, Takuya Nishiwaki who encouraged her to launch a symphonic metal project, which later formed LIV MOON in 2009. She is also modeling for L’Oreal Professional Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. In 2014, she took the role of Madam Red in the Black Butler musical performance.
