Biography

APLT was formed in 2008, a year when the local music scene in North Georgia was changing rapidly. With so many typical metal bands and a countless number of cliche hardcore bands breaking into view, this band brought in something new and fresh. The musical style of APLT can be defined as Electronic Post-Hardcore, with more than just the average post-hardcore tendencies, but also a more melodic and pop feel. Over the last year, their crowds have been increasing in number at each show, the largest being a sold out show with over 400 people in attendance.

The band self released their EP "From Here On Out" in September 2009 which is available on iTunes (U.S. Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, and Mexico), Amazon On Demand, AmazonMP3, Shockhound, MySpace Music, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, IMVU, Lala, Amie Street, LimeWire Store, and Nokia, and has sold over 500 copies.

Currently, the lineup consists of Josh Dominicali and Elijah Carr on guitars, Wil Hughes playing bass and programming electronics, Kyle Erwin on keys, Case Snedecor on drums, and the newest addition to the band, Hance Alligood as lead vocalist. Though the band has gone through recent member changes, they now have a solid lineup and have begun writing music with a more mature and progressive sound. With drive, determination, and the advantage of being a younger band, APLT has mass potential and a great future in store. They've worked hard to build their substantial fanbase in the local area, as well as playing several out of state shows. The band has done a small tour in Florida, and plans on touring within the next year.
