Biography

(English: Hey Girls) is a South Korean girl group under . They were originally known as Black Queen, formed back in 2012. Members: Jandi (잔디), Heesu (희수), Siyeon (시연) and Daeun (다은).

Black Queen Years 2012-2017
Originally under the name Black Queen. Black Queen was a dance group that was founded by members Jandi and Jihyun after leaving dance team Love Cubic in around 2008. Years later, the dance group became a K-pop group becoming signed under SunWoo Ent.

In 2011, the group had gotten some recognition after appearing on the program Superstar K3. Between the time they appeared on the show and October 2012, the group had undergone many line up changes consisting of members leaving and joining (including founding member Jihyun). On October 19, 2012 they released their debut single "Good Girl".

Sometime after the release of their debut single, Black Queen left SunWoo Ent and became part of Moai entertainment. They released their 2nd single, "놀자"(NOLJA) on Feburary 3, 2016.

With the release of their 3rd single, Black Queen changed their name to HeyGirls. Their 3rd single was titled "너 아니면 NO"(No One but you)

2018: HeyGirls
On May 17, they released their song "팔로우해봐" (Follow Me).
