Kuroishi Hitomi has worked alongside composer Nakagawa Koutarou on a number of anime soundtracks, namely Planetes, Gun × Sword and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.

Her most recent contribution was for studio GONZO's second-to-last (to date) anime series Shangri-La, for which she composed the entire soundtrack, except for the song Orange Kandara.
