Kozo Murashita (村下孝蔵 Murashita Kōzō, February 28, 1953—June 24, 1999) was a singer-songwriter who was born in Minamata City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
After graduate high school, his family moved to Hiroshima prefecture.
Then he started activity as indie folk singer on street.
1979,he passed SD audition by CBS SONY.
1989, He debut single "月あかり" as pro-singer.
1983,"初恋" was 3rd position on Japanese music ranking by ORICON.
He died of a stroke during a rehearsal in 1999.
At that time, his was 46 age.
