And... that's it. She's done. We'll never see her doing concerts or releasing new songs. I'm so grateful for everything she's done, although still very sad that she call it quits since I think she could still deliver so much legendary stuff, but it's her decision after all. All I want to say is thank you for bringing so much joy, enduring what she endured and keeping for not only for us fans but herself too. I can't find words to say how lucky I feel for being her fan honestly, for knowing her soon enough to catch her second and never ending prime.
if anyone had told me back in 2008 (the year a friend mine showed me who Namie was) that I would ever go to her concert in Japan, I wouldn't have believed it. but actually, last week, I did. and it was amazing. never have an artist had this power over me as Namie does. everything she does (or used to do), anything, I just love it. even if at first I didn't like the song that much, the songs keep on the back of my mind and then when I notice it I'm already singing out loud. I'm so thankful for finding in her not only an amazing singer that she is, but also a complete artist who is able to inspire me so much as she has done throughout these years. I know she isn't dead, but I'm gonna miss her a lot, as there will be no new songs/albums. so let's stick to masterpiece that her discography is, specially PAST<FUTURE and _genic <3 shout out to Namie The Queen and all of us fans! ^-^
A 40 year old woman, that recorded and released 12 albums in 20 years and raised her son inbetween, decided to retire before she ends up like Britney Spears. Instead of acting like fucking crybabies you should better think for a second. You are so fucking selfish! Grow the fuck up!
the Kohaku performance was stunning. I didn't even care for Hero as a song all that much until that performance, but you could just see and hear the emotion in her voice...I'm going to miss her so much :(
Slightly disappointed at some of her re-recorded vocals... Not only she re-recorded but the instrumentals were remastered/changed and it was kinda strange. Tempest vocals weren't the best, the original hits way harder. Can't Sleep Can't Eat I'm Sick and I Will sounds bizarre. | Finally is WONDERFUL, it's BEYOND my expectations and I can't believe how good this song is.
Guys... how should we tag the Finally versions? "Break It (New vocal)" like Ballada re-recorded ones, "Break It (Finally ver.)" like I think it's the best one or we just leave it like "Break It"?
I used Break It just as an example.. and I wish to put "Finally ver." because most of the songs are different versions.. so.. what do you guys think?
If they are not officially named like that, then you don't put anything. As simple as that. I used to do this before with songs and I really regret it. Just leave them tagged normally because that's what they appear like in the official tracklist. What makes them different is the album tag, you don't really have to put anything extra in the title names.
