كارول سماحة (Carole Samaha or Carol Semeha) was born in Lebanon. Carole Samaha always dreamed of being a star on stage. She was well raised in a good family with her parents and two brothers.

Her dream of being in the spotlights followed her since she was very young. Carole Samaha was fascinated by the music and captured by the charm of the theater.

At school and since childhood her talent was obvious and her love for music was inevitable. As soon as Carole graduated from school she decided to study drama.

Carole Samaha graduated in 1999 from the St. Joseph University of Beirut with a masters degree in Acting and Directing.

Even at school plays and University plays, Carole was always chosen to be the leading female star in most important musicals.

On stage Carole is very gifted with a multi-faceted personality; just like a chameleon, she can easily and swiftly change from one condition on stage to another one.

Not only did Carole prove herself as an actress, she soon used her beautiful voice to express songs of magnificence.

Carole first appeared on television on LBC on New Years Eve of the new millennium; she was wearing an elegant red dress and sang بصباح الألف الثالث (Bi-ṣabāḥ El-alf Eth-thālith).

The talent of Carole to act and sing at the same time allowed her to perform many songs written by great composers in the Middle East such as Mansour Rahbani and perform them on Stage.

Carole introduced herself as a promising whole artist who can sing and act with equal aptitude.

Carole is currently essentially focusing on her singing career. Her many hits include حبيب قلبي (Ḥabīb 'Albī), إتطلع في (Etṭal'a Fīyya), مثل الحلم (Methl El-ḥelm) and أضواء الشهرة ('Adwā'a Esh-shohra).
