Песняры (Piesniary, Belarusian word for "singers") was a Soviet Belarusian band higly popular in the 70-80-s. The VIA was led by guitarist Vladimir Muliavin until his death in 2003.

Because band's name copyright was owned by the Republic of Belarus, in the 90ies some of band's members left the official ensemble and started the project "Belorusskie Pesniary", keeping to play the old Piesniary songs.
