Yes, every kind of music can be appreciated. One just has to be in the right mood, mind set, environment for it to "work" for our ear... 1 Am here, time for me to meet Peter Pan in my dreams :-)

Not only Chinese, Asian in general... but you are right, currently mostly Chinese... I think the one consistent thing in my music since begin here at lastfm is the instrumental part (from the Korean haegum to "wood and string" (I had a lastfm group for string instruments) to my own compositions (genre: minimal/experimental) ). The Asian music is also a lot (from when I joined it was like Korean, but nowadays it's mostly Chinese only, though I try to add also some Japanese, but somehow lastfm recommendations never bring in Japanese, I have to make effort myself to play that)... How about you?
