Surprised no-one has mentioned Melvins playing with Mastodon, hope there's footage or pictures because it's a bit of a blur to me.

the wristbands thing was needed just in case everyone at the festival decided they HAD to see fantomas/melvins/mastodon/buttholes twice. if they had there would have been capacity issues, but luckily it all worked out fine

Yeah it was cool and pretty messy - glad i got to see Fantomas, Melvins and Mastodon twice each. Not sure what all the fuss about queueing and wristbands was - i had no extra wristbands and never had any problem getting into the main stage. Torche were my fave band there, but Friday was the most hazy night of all - does anyone else remember how good they were?! Saw them with Isis in London on the Thursday and they were unbelievable - met the drummer and bassist at ATP too, cool guys. Lead guitarist's last gig at ATP though apparently :(

Rahzel was good, but the novelty started to wear off towards the end of his set. I enjoyed it, but I was glad it ended when it did.

Everything I saw that weekend was excellent, apart from Madlove, who were the one of the most dullest things imaginable. Bland indie rock, trying so hard to be be experimental but failing to create anything but a tuneless mess. All that and fronted by a Bjork wannabe. Fucking clown shoes. Dalek, Bohren und de club of gore and Fantomas were easily amongst the shows of the year; will remember them for a very long time. Shame about the singer from Mastodon though...

Fantomas and Teenage Jesus were by far the best ones for me. some other greatness were Soulsavers, Monotonix, Junior Brown, The Locust.. Uhm can't remeber any more but I'm sure there was. It was fun dancing to The Damned classics but boring to wait for them. I'm very sad I didn't get to Butlins in time for Kill Me Tomorrow and the biggest dissapointment was White Noise. First it was boring like any laptop electronica and then when they where going to do Firebird they where just singing along to the cd, and the cd was scratched.

No one talks about MONOTONIX here? That was the happening ATP lovers wanted, wasn't it? Also TEENAGE JESUS AND THE JERKS were the most important key to the weekend, I think.

My first ATP and I was blown away - Buzz's intro in the festival programme sums it up really, gutted I can't go to either of the may ones. Squarepusher on the sunday night was amazing, as were Melvins, Monotonix, Vocal Sampling, Butthole Surfers, Neil Hamburger, Fantomas... basically everything. Even Leila.

Best...weekend...ever. Fantomas was my biggest highlight, followed by Squarepusher, Manorexia (despite very very loud people!!) and Vocal Sampling :) Kim xxx

Does anyone know where I'll be able to buy an ATP shirt? The merchandise stall was sold out when I went to buy one :(

Bill was meant to be back for the 30th November for the little run they've done that finishes with ATP, so i'm guessing that's still the case. Not sure about Torche.
