Take
A
Step
Into darkness
Step out of the island, and drown in the waters of your mind
Dissociated knowledge in this vast ocean can be found
But you better not swim far, cause you may reach the point of no return
Better to be insane or ignorant? Know the harsh truth or live in concern?
What's the better way, to figure out, what life's about
Than drowning in my
Thoughts
Luring, whispering, giving sense of maddening, slowly devouring, the sea is alive
Overwhelming knowledge ties weights 'round your ankles, pulling you down, forcing to drown
Rather scary than unnecessary connections can be found
In mind of a human, if you doubt the truth than sink in your mind, give it a try
It doesn't make sense, or does it?
It looked so promising but than it had to fall
And that what was crawling, now is standing tall
Controlling, scratching, screaming, messing with my brain
An empty box, everything gone in vain
Embrace the everlasting pain
Where am I? Where?
Maybe I've gone too far
Just chaos, everywhere
Maybe I've gone too far
Only emptiness you can find ashore, no colors, just a gray land of ignorance
So step out of the island, get lost in the maelstrom of the lies
Does inner peace lie in blindness? Does knowledge bring pain and misery?
Does misfortune reward the kindness? That's the question, be or not to be?
You know what's the price to pay
Luring, whispering, giving sense of maddening, slowly devouring, the sea is alive
Don't let it inside, not even a little, it may wash out your soul, wash it out dry
Choose life in the wilderness, or in a golden cage
Stand up and fall, put up a fight, or forever stay deranged
So it does make sense now, or does it?
It looked so promising but than it had to fall
And that what was crawling, now is standing tall
Controlling, scratching, screaming, messing with my brain
An empty box, everything gone in vain
Embrace the everlasting pain
I almost got it
Maybe I've gone too far
I'm almost there
Maybe
Drown
I've
Gone too
Gone too far
Gone too
Gone too far
