Nov 19 2014, 0:14 di fm014Hi,
sorry, I’m late. A celebration and stuff came between me and the most recent entry...
Last week in covers:
> LeAnn Rimes : new (remix) album alert, pt 2. :P I’ve heard the rest of the songs. A few of them are okay. I would say here you can judge the product by its cover, because that photo isn’t the best choice. ^^
> Ed Sheeran : so I gave “x” another chance, but I often find myself a bit bored… like in “not really amazed” by the music. Hm :/
> Twerps : new artist/album alert. Tbh I can’t really recall anything special about “Underlay”. Sorry.
> Madonna : ah, those good ol’ “American Life” times. I admit, that I wasn’t very fond of her music at that era, but in the end it really grew on me.
> Anastacia : this was due to party playlist research. And I can tell you it was because of a friend’s request. :P

Dic 30 2013, 18:42 di fm014Hi,
last week was very special to me, because I hosted my first live broadcast as part of the holiday programme of Rostock’s local radio station. And so I prepared a special song selection. I’m quite happy with the experience and I really want to get used to the procedure.
In other news: oh, it was Christmas and I almost did not listen to a single Christmas song this year. But what else happened during this last week of 2013...
Last week in covers:
> Frank Ocean : oh, I remember this. I was looking for some “edgy” background music on Friday, so I chose “Channel Orange”.
> Sheryl Crow : that was part of my personal flashback evening. I revisited the whole “Wildflower” album, which I think is one of her best records ever.
> Gypsy & The Cat : I admit that I also chose their album “Gilgamesh” for background music purposes. And I also like it a lot.
Set 30 2013, 20:16 di fm014Hi,
it looks like I could manage scrobbling a bit more from now on. I’m quite busy these days - including weekends. However, every now and then I’m listening to a new album. :D
Last week in covers:
> Lady Antebellum : I guess I should revisit music from before “Golden” - just to have more songs by this band in my head. ;)
> Sheryl Crow : well, this was part of yesterday’s easy-listening evening.
> Annie Lennox : this as well.
> Alanis Morissette : this, too.
> ATB : and this, of course.
Most played artists:
> Elton John : new album alert. There are some good moments on the new record, but my overall impression could be described as disappointed.
> London Grammar : new album/artist alert.
> Drake : new album alert. I haven’t heard all the new tracks yet, but I’m afraid I can’t handle this kind of hip-hop, because it requires much attention.
