Shaolin Temple of BooM (SToB) is the brainchild of Los Angeles musician and artist David Alvarez. A Shaw Brother's Kung Fu movie aficionado, David first came up with the band name when he was 12 and has stuck with it ever since. He wanted to create "a Kung Fu of music", a force of sound, hence began Shaolin Temple of BooM. (((o))) SToB released its first EP "ProjecKtor" in 2005 with David Alvarez performing, composing, arranging and producing all of the tracks (with the exception of playing the drums).
