Script of Flood was founded in 2000 by lead vocalist Pekka Hyvärinen, originally started as a solo project, but soon expanded into a band. The band made their first demo Withered in 2002. After a couple critically acclaimed demos and numerous live shows the band started to record their first full-length album. The Finnish producer T.T. Oksala (HIM, Apocalyptica, Lordi) was chosen to produce the album. In October 2007, the single Replica was released and it was produced a music video directed by P.J. Piippo.
