The idea behind the band was conceived in early 2008 by guitar player and composer Adriano Strinati. He immediately found a drummer and a guitarist in Marcello Alastor and Gabriele Massa, as they worked with him in Justice Denied - his previous band - before the split. Meanwhile also Twin Keepers disbanded (Hellowen tribute band) and vocalist Edoardo Gregni chose to built this new project with Adriano and the other guys; not long after also bass player Xander Pantagruel joined the fold, and RUINTHRONE was officialy born.
