Author's notes The first time I strongly felt that I could write about Hybla (today called Ragusa Ibla) was after the reading of Mimì Arezzo's book Ibla dei Miracoli. Sure, before that I had read some other texts about my hometown, but Mimì's literary work - written with great passion and very precise from a historical point of view - gave me more.
