In 1987, Pressurehed was formed in Hollywood, CA by Tommy Grenas and Len Del Rio. Both enjoyed everything-from "Krautrock," spacerock, and electronic, to spy themes, Industrial and garage music. They produced many cassettes of strange music, and played improvised sets at the now defunct Lechtisternium Club in Los Angeles. In 1988, they were joined by drummer Paul De Wolf, who disappeared one day, only to return later and discover that he'd been replaced by a drum machine, and Belgian bassist Marc Collignon.
