Hellmao started their career in October 2008 as an idea of Francesco (guitar & chorus) and Valerio (bass guitar), who engaged Francesco (Drums) and Danilo (voice) to form the band. They began to play 90’s rock/grunge covers (Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters) and, after some playing sessions, also Giovanni (Guitar) came in to complete the band. Unfortunately, after having developed a nice number of covers, Danilo decided to leave the band in the middle of 2009: as you can imagine, this meant “Searching for a new singer”.
