Finch is the 2018 debut album from the band Finch, a group created by Alexander " Finch" Harper for the recording and performance of the album. Taking inspiration from the "anything goes" feel of 70's prog rock and fusion, on early albums by Genesis and King Crimson, "Finch" creates surging, harmonious compositions as a backdrop to intense storytelling. https://finch-music.bandcamp.com/album/finch
What It Is To Burn, a masterpiece when you just are bummed out and want to headbang to some great nostalgic choruses. Say Hello To Sunshine is more for those creative, but lazy saturday afternoons where you wanna really listen to the songs.
To me, this band is one of the most passionate bands in this genre. The new album surprised me being really good as well. Say Hello To Sunshine is superb too. And their debut is amazing. All-around nice band. Glad they're back
My only gripe is that they played "Picasso Trigger" on tour a few months ago and it was just ridiculously good. The album version is so toned down and he doesn't belt out any insane screams that he does roughly 7 times during the live stuff. Feel like the label may be responsible for that one. Other than that, I'm enjoying it.
