FC Kahuna (or FC/Kahuna) is the name of a DJ and electronic music production duo consisting of Jon Nowell and Daniel Ormondroyd. They are also known as "Jon and Dan Kahuna."

FC/Kahuna released Machine Says Yes the spring of 2002, which had a number of singles released from it, most notably Machine Says Yes and Hayling, which both featured Icelandic singer Hafdis Huld on vocals. The album sold over 50,000 copies, and received a good critical acclaim:

"Easily as good as the last chemicals' lp and snapping at the heels of Daft Punks' "Discovery" Machine Says Yes is as broad in its retro reference as it is happy to revel in the futuristic" (NME)

"It's big and it's clever" (Q)

"Machine Says Yes throbs like vintage acid-house… but they've given it a makeover for the millennium." (Rolling Stone)

Although previously a DJ duo only, FC Kahuna put together a live band (with Hafdis Huld on vocals and John Thompson on bass) and toured the UK in support of Röyksopp in 2002 which culminated in a sold out show at Brixton Academy in front of 4,000 people. The band played at some festivals as well: Coachella in LA, T In The Park in Scotland, Roskilde in Denmark, Reading and Leeds in the UK, and Benicassim in Spain.

In 2003 they released their first mix album Another Fine Mess (an offshoot of the famous Another Late Night compilation series) which featured tracks by Blur, The Polyphonic Spree, Green Velvet, Josh Wink and others.

Among the artists remixed by the band we find New Order, Felix Da Housecat, Mellow and the US band The Faint.

The music of the duo is featured in TV shows as well, like Six Feet Under, CSI Miami and Nip/Tuck and in movie productions as Domino with Keira Knightley , Layer Cake or Riding Giants.

The music for several video games have also featured input from the duo. These include Need For Speed Underground and Crackdown.
