Early next year (2016), she'll release a new album called Oscar Hocks via FANTASYmusic (in Europe) and Atlas Chair (in North and South America).
In a statement, Casady compared the C.i.A to her work with CocoRosie. "I often played the dark side of CocoRosie. And now I don't have to worry about being too dark, too scary, too weird," she said.

Bianca Casady Artist Biography

Lives in Paris Born 1982 Hilo, Hawaii
Through music, writing, teaching, directing, and visual art, Bianca ‘Coco’ Casady explores her personal myths by means of questioning the social constructs of religion, gender and taboo. She has exhibited internationally at various galleries some of which include Cheim and Read in New York, The Sunday Issue Gallery in Tokyo, Deitch Projects in New York, Art Basel in Florida, and the Bozar Center for the Fine Arts in Belgium. Bianca recently founded the feminist-arts magazine called "Girls Against God" which has been published worldwide. Bianca is now writing her third theatrical piece. The first theatrical work she wrote and directed titled "NighShift" was created and performed at Kampnagel in Hamburg, Germany as well as the Donaufestival in Krems, Austria. Her second play "Motherhunting" recently premiered at The National Theater in Oslo, Norway.
In 2003, Bianca ‘Coco’ reunited with her sister, Sierra ‘Rose’, both born and raised in various places throughout the United States. What evolved was CocoRosie, an ongoing innovative collaboration in music, poetry, and performance that ranges from hip-hop to operatic vignettes, traditional acoustic folk earthiness to distorted electronic patterns and tones. Bianca writes, sings, and plays a range of untraditional musical instruments in this dynamic sibling project that has released four albums, toured internationally, and performed at numerous prominent international music festivals.
Recently CocoRosie was invited to collaborate on a theater production of Peter Pan with Director Robert Wilson with the Berliner Ensemble. Now the two are working on their second collaboration with Wilson doing Pushkin's Fairy Tales.
