Philippe Deschamps is a French ambient music producer who also composes film music. On May 24, 2024, he released "What the Sea Promises", his first ambient album on the Mare Nostrum label. The album, inspired by the sea, features fabulous reworks by Le Code, Bahrambient, Stilhed and IOTO. Ambient music is for him a genre that questions the listener, by inventing unheard of sounds, by creating unreal spaces and temporalities.
