used to sorta be into Nord a couple years ago and dismissed their other albums.. at some point I got bored of 'em and stop liking 'em/listening to their music. revisiting 'em now feels like going to another dimension and discovering all sorts of wacky stuff and depths to their music I had never heard before. definitely listen to 'em with a new perspective now. be it with or without vocals, this band is immense.
I recently got quite into Joy Division, and was surprised upon revisiting YNOL that on the deluxe Nord release YONL covered Joy Division's Disorder. Impeccable taste. The genre lends itself well to covering/adaptation.
@TheArtofShred88 sorry for being so late mate! Well, after listening to their albums for so long, I automatically assume they are instrumental, so these vocals are out of place for me. Post-metal and post-rock are the only genres where I actually enjoy instrumental albums, even more than vocalized onces so this actually matters to me - I can't get enough!
Fuck off shoutbox spammers. I hate you. No one cares about your shitty soundcloud. But I came here to say that I started listening to YONL recently and Perséphone - Enna is one of the most incredible things I've ever heard. Thankyou for making it.
