1 jan. 2010, 3h36m par CrimeForDummiesSo as the year comes to an end it's that time where everyone picks what they think are the top 10/20/whatever albums of the year. I though think that's too easy and a bit of a cop-out. Picking a top 10 is easy most of the time, determining how every new release you listen to stacks up against one another though is a bit more difficult of a challenge. So like last year, I present my complete list of albums released over the past year organized from worst to first (minus EP's, compilations, live albums, etc. because if I did, the complete 'Neverender' boxset by Coheed and Cambria would take #1 by itself because of it's total and complete amazingness). Unlike last year though where I had the relatively low number of 112 albums to compare, this year had almost double the number albums to sort through, so either click back or brace yourself cause this might take a while to get through (and as always agree/complain/whine/whatever down in the comments. Useless trolling though will get you nowhere).

24 nov. 2009, 20h23m par discobeefI work three jobs -one as a clerk at a comic book shop. My boss, Jason is a borderline conspiracy theorist who refuses to reveal his last name or age, but likes to tell me about how back in the day he was hip to Black Flag, The Plasmatics and The Vibrators but he'll also regrettably admit being into Gary Numan, Kraftwerk and other "simp shit" that he's supposedly forgotten after years and years of substance abuse.
When I work in the back storeroom I listen to music, and Jason usually has something odd to say it. Despite not knowing his age, it's obvious he's grown a little ornery over the years and the music I like "doesn't make any fucking sense" to him.
Here's a working list of some of Jason's comments. The last addition was on 1/16/12. New entries are in red.
Alela Diane - "The world's going to end soon. You know that, right? This woman's music is proof of it. …
13 juin 2009, 15h55m par VirusOfLife92This is (obviously) by no means complete yet as we're only about halfway done with the year at the moment, but might as well put this up now. Ratings are certainly not final and will more likely than not change after more and more listens, but feel free to criticize/praise them as I welcome and encourage any comments on the list. Recommendations are also greatly welcomed and appreciated.
One quick note, all albums rated as "n/a" are albums that I currently have not listened to and/or have not been released yet.
