Well, I think it's worse. Probably one of the few albums that made me really angry. I mean, when Nickelback sound superior to your music, than you definitely have a problem.

Because it gave me serious mental health issues and it all comes back up when I only hear his voice. :/

After playing their 84-94 era albums again recently, my favorite 3 songs are still the same: (1.) Homebound Train (2.) Lay Your Hands on Me (3.) In these Arms

That's why I mentioned their age. People change. By the way, I think you're too generous with 2005. To me, 1994's "Always" was the proverbial stroke.

No, never was. Bon Jovi is a success-oriented business company! A guy who let others do the work (under the protective cover of a band) and then sell everything under HIS name. ...Sorry, I'm evil. 😡

My parents bought me one of their albums many years ago when I was a child, possibly about 10 years old. I hadn’t really worked out what music I liked at that age. Nonetheless I gave the album a few listens to get into it. I couldn’t stand it and to this day I despise Bon Jovi. It’s totally unjustified as I get their a decent band. I just can’t get past the bitter annoyance of my parents getting me this CD which I hated at the time. Silly really 😁 No hate here, I just listened to one of their tunes and it reminded me of the horror 🫣😁

daaamn :( RIP Alec! I wouldn't even know if I hadn't decided to listen to some Bon Jovi today, it's as something was telling me to listen to some "New Jersey"...

БомЖови даже не музыка, это набор звуков без души, рокерская коммерческая колбаска говнецца оставленная на старой заброшенной американской бензозаправке. Это то против чего борется разум любого уважающего себя интеллигентного человека с айкью выше 130.

Bon Jovi is still my favorite band, but I had always liked the older songs with the exception of It's My Life which is my favorite. After Sambora left, the songs just aren't that good, but that doesn't make the band bad, after all, they're old.

I am disappointed, too. For me, there's no power left. "Bad Medicine", "You Give Love a Bad Name", and, of course, "It's My Life'" were those songs I wanted to hear live and it was really good (in Tallinn, 2019). I remember people going from the show and listening.. what? Yeah, you're right - "It's My Life". And when you realise this song was released 19 years ago... "This House Is Not For Sale" album was OK, but older songs rocked in the concert. And I don't even imagine hearing new album live, sorry. I don't like this country music instead the rock music I loved. Even if lyrics are good. Well, "Limitless", "Blood In The Water", "Shine" were good for me. But not that good as "It's My Life" or "We Weren't Born To Follow" or older iconic songs.

Everything they've recorded until "Keep the Faith" (inclusive) is classic glam/hard rock with some best hard rock songs I've heard in my life (Dry County, Born To Be My Baby, Keep the Faith), but since "These Days" they miss some factor and I can't stand them even hearing their songs in radio.
