HowTheLightGetsIn (26th May-5th June) is the world’s largest philosophy and music festival. Produced by the Institute of Art and Ideas and held annually in Hay-on-Wye, HTLGI brings together philosophers, writers, musicians, politicians, artists and commentators for ten days of rigorous debate, incisive solo talks, film screenings, live performance, and parties.

Speakers this year include Philip Pullman, Cory Doctorow, Vince Cable, Mike Figgis, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, Jaz Butterworth, Rolf Dieter-Heuer, Leela Gandhi, AC Grayling, Bonnie Greer, David Lammy, Ulrich Lehmann, Justine Pcardie, Musa Okwonga, Rowan Pelling, Laurie Penny and Toby Young.
