Hazlett

Indie folk singer Hazlett grew up in Australia, but if the last few years are any indication, he really blossomed in Sweden. An old friend, a big breakup and playing Oasis' "Wonderwall" three times a night were the unplanned mix of reasons that led him to leave his growing up behind and travel to the other side of the world.

A heap of lost nerves and a confused jumble of memories became the beginning of Hazlett's unique brand of "indie ballroom folk". However, it all only crystallized one summer in Stockholm when he found the fabled collaborative chemistry in his now close friend Freddy Alexander. A lot has changed since then, and what started as a way for him to "sort out a few things in his head" has now become a whole world of music with beautiful intricacies to move through.

Even though the emotional confusions never completely disappear, there is this newfound, calm confidence of the troubadour from Down Under. You may never have met in person, but sometimes listening to Hazlett's music feels like he's the only friend you've ever had.

In early 2024, he performed as a special guest for LANY in North America and for Callum Scott in Europe. Before starting his own headline tour in Europe in November, he will also perform as a support act for Ocie Elliott and Passenger in Europe, reunite with LANY in Australia, and return to the US for additional shows.
