I agree, I thought Seasick Steve's songs were great. A whole lot better and certainly more fun than Ben Harper imo

Neil was astounding -- loved the encore too. Chrissie Hynde and crew were surprisingly good, despite the heat. Ben Harper had some great moments too. But I found Seasick Steve lived up to his name -- completely nauseating. His performance felt disingenuous and depressing -- a mediocre bluesman (decent guitarist though) playing a character to sell to guileless Brits -- right down to swigging the Jack Daniels. But hey, I guess that's why they call it Show Business.

Their sound/harmonies are so unique it's unmissable. Shame to miss Priscilla too, but you can't see everyone. Seasick Steve, Ben Harper, Fleet Fox,es Magic Numbers and Neil Young was plenty. I can't stop listening to Neil's Live at Massey Hall 1971 album... strikes a chord in me.

Don't know Alessi's Ark so will have to check them out! Glad you enjoyed Fleet Foxes from the sounds of it most people did as well

Glad to hear The Magic Numbers were good, I'm not a fan so I don't feel I missed out though. I would have liked to have caught Alessi's Ark and Priscilla Ahn but it wasn't to be. I thought Fleet Foxes were incredible.

You missed a good one in Magic Numbers. they played a blinder! Fleet Foxes weren't doing it for us so we went to see Magic #s and was worth it! Neil was great & Priscilla Ahn. Seasick Steve was brilliant though.

I didn't get a chance to check out any of the smaller stages but of the supports acts on the main stage I thought Seasick Steve and Fleet Foxes were both fantastic.

Despite the lack of Cortez and Pocahontas, still truly awe-inspiring. Pretty cool when Paul McCartney turned up at the end for A Day In The Life too.

i love how the endings to most of the elecric numbers were longer than the actual tack; take for example cinammon girl ...

Just watching BBC coverage of Neil at Glastonbury. Nice cover of A Day in the Life. Getting excited...two good support bands as well as Neil to look forward to. Cornish1: they sell alcohol in there (£3.50) - you can't bring it in. See here for what you can take in, and everything else: http://www.hardrockcalling.co.uk/home

Sadly, on this tour, only Cortez The Killer is sometimes played. Danger Bird or Pardon My Heart would be awesome !!

I also hope Neil to play Cortez, it's my favourite song. I expect a great set to close his European Tour.

Cracking looking set-list from IoW. Don't Let It Bring You Down? Jee-zus. I may faint. However, knowing how contrary the old buzzard is, he may play the whole of Trans AND Fork In The Road, laugh, and stroll off. But, he did play a lot of the same set at Hop Farm last year, so fingers crossed. And in reply to an earlier post, I went to the Hard Rock Calling gig with Peter Gabriel and Crowded House a couple of years back, and whoever they had on the second stage (can't remember as I was too busy freaking out to Finn and Big Pete) were playing at pretty much the same times throughout the day, but had all finished by the time Gabriel took the stage. But, I'm sorry, none of us should care really. Neil's the reason we're all going.

Apparently he's been playing those two (as well as Cinnamon Girl and Rockin' In The Free World) at all the European shows so far, so I'd say there's a very good chance.
