Downtown Bristol, TN/VA
Bristol, TN, United States
Bristol, Virginia/Tennessee: We stopped in Bristol last time we were in America, on our way up from Nashville (if it seems like we’re always in Nashville it’s because we are). One look at State Street, which is actually a street that connects two states, and we knew we had to come back. Does it get any better than the Birthplace of Country Music? We think not.
And so: GOTR Bristol Stopover. A day of music (and more) down by a beautifully restored train station; a night of music (and more) on historic State Street, steps from where Country Music was born. Our local friends will be on hand to supply the food, drink, and extra banjo strings.
Stopover tickets are $69, all-in, with no additional fees or charges. Every ticket is also a commemorative passport and includes an exclusive live download compilation featuring performances taken from across the Stopovers.
An additional $1 from each Bristol Stopover ticket will be donated to support the development of the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance Cultural Heritage Center, a Smithsonian Institute experience that tells the story of Bristol’s musical heritage.
