SOUNDS FROM THE OTHER CITY festival returns to the Salford streets, on SUNDAY MAY 6TH, once again uniting the cream of the national and international scene with some of the city’s finest independent promotors, collectives and club nights. Mind on Fire Collective, Drowned in Sound, Faktion, Trash-O-Rama, Now Wave and Hey! Manchester are amongst the brave bunch hosting stages at this year’s extravaganza which takes all over Chapel Street, Salford from 3pm to late.
Venues taking part this year include some of our old favourities such as The Crescent, The Old Pint Pot and The Rover Returns pubs, the beautiful St Philips and Sacred Trinity Churches, and the inimitable Islington Mill as well as a couple of new additions!
Individual line-ups will be announced in the coming weeks. Expect the usual impeccably curated stages as well as a whole heap of unusual happenings.
TICKETS for this year are priced at the same as last year – £18 – and will go on sale on TUES, JAN 24TH, with an intimate launch party at The Gaslamp Bar on Bridge St, where you you will be able to purchase EARLY BIRD TICKETS at the insanely cheap price of £14 WITHOUT BOOKING FEE. If stock remains the early bird tickets will also be available for a limited period on skiddle.com. Once they’re gone….
