Realised I never updated this... OK, it was great! :D Ben Butler was nifty, too. Um was more poetry than music, but very entertaining. All the artists seemed to enjoy themselves, which certainly added to the evening. All in all a top night, but sad to see such a tiny turnout of a crowd for live performances. Nice to see reasonably-priced merchandise for sale; I still have the `free' MT bag I got with the 3 CD's I bought (2xMT, 1xBB). Hope to see more of this sort of thing! PS - turns out was chav-free night, very mellow, nice one.

This is definitely happening. On the Tuesday gig nights it's just the main room and we do our own DJing in between -- no other djs/crowds in the place. We did Melt-Banana and Venetian Snares there over the last few years and Four Tet and others have also played there -- all good nights. Tickets still available: http://www.wegotickets.com/location/342 Also at Junction Box Office 01223 511511/Junction 2 ticket counter/www.junction.co.uk

Max says it, so it must be so; http://www.myspace.com/maxtundra The Soul Tree is a multi level "club", make of that what you will. I've been there on a night when there was no live music and various bad djs on different levels, it was shit. But on a Tuesday night, it might be alright? Less chavy than a Friday night...
