On Sunday 17th June at The Captain's Rest, Scottish Fiction proudly presents our maiden gig. To celebrate a year of the blog's existance, I've got four of my favourite Scottish artists along for what should be a night of great music.
Five piece from Barrhead, Saint Death have got clear Post-Rock influences and despite their short life span, have already got a hefty collection of tunes up on Soundcloud. 'Dignitas' is a personal favourite.

Four piece from Cumbernauld who sculpt nice indie rock tunes. Last EP 'Denver' showed a great deal of promise and they've got a good live show to back things up!

The Spook School
I love this four piece from Edinburgh. Like serious band crush. And lots of other people seem to do to. 'History' was my favourite track of last year, as well as Edinburgh Man's #1, and they've recently popped up on Kowalskiy's latest EP. Glad to have their fun filled alternative vibes on board!

Singer/songwriters are a dime a dozen. Michael Cassidy stands out amongst that crowd as being the finest talent to come out of Paisley in a long time! With a debut album dropping later this year, expect big things from Michael.
