Coniston Lane, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland, 4006, Australia
White Rhino and Dank Morass join forces to bring one of electronic music's heavyweight voices to Brisbane for the first time.
CLARK (Warp Records) will debut his live audio/visual show at the renown venue in Conistion Lane (Woodlands bar). The venue will be equipped with extra sound and a large projector screen to facilitate the full experience!
Clark's auteur approach to music making has established his iconic status in the world of electronic music and has resulted in many justified comparisons to Aphex Twin and Amon Tobin.
Representing Warp Records, Clark has consistently created sophisticated yet phat music for the past 12 years that forms an outstanding body of work, ranging from the sublime and pastoral to the downright filthy. Combining elements of Hip Hop, Techno, IDM and Folk with warm (but massive), analogue recording techniques and live instrumentation, CLARK's vision is truly unique.
He has released a slew of mind-bending releases that have carved out his own niche and have always pushed the boundaries of electronic music outwards. His latest album Iradelphic (out 1st week of April on Warp) is no exception and this along with a healthy back catalog of classic Clark material (not to mention some exclusives and live mixes no doubt) will be drawn on for the live performance.
Fine quality local support will be in full effect as well.
Be sure to set this date aside in order to witness the madness of a great artist.
