Out of the East: Inspiring choral and piano music by Russian and Baltic composers

Somerset Chamber Choir
Anita D'Attellis (piano)

Join Somerset Chamber Choir on this journey East exploring a delectable selection of inspiring a cappella choral works from Russia and the Baltic countries, interspersed with piano pieces played by dazzling pianist Anita D'Attellis.

The fascinating journey will feature choral music by well-known composers from the region, such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov (including movements from the Vespers) as well as discovering the works of more recent composers (Rautavaara, Lukaszewski, Miskinis et al), plus piano works by Chopin, Rachmaninov and others.

This will be a concert to warm the soul of any music-lover in Somerset this winter.
