Description
Moving Furniture Records presents Cam Deas & The Puddle Parade
Cam Deas (UK)
Cameron Deas is a young guitarist now living in London, UK. His experiments on the 12 string guitar mostly lead to lengthy compositions and improvisations. With traces from traditional folk music, drone music and free improvisation he creates his specific own sound world. He has been compared with James Blackshaw, Six Organs of Admittance and Jack Rose. While there is indeed similarities in the music it does not justify his very special guitar play.
This evening he will show us some of his great acoustic guitar pieces and present to us his new album Quadtych which will be out just before his European tour.

The Puddle Parade (DE/NL)
Behind this intimate project we find Ellens Evers from Berlin, but now living in Utrecht. She brings a very playful sound by recording loops from (toy) instruments combined with her soft voice.
In her own words you could describe it as a "minimalistic crackling toy orkestra in slow motion".
This evening she will bring us a very special performance which will also bring in a special guest to play along with her.
