🖤🤘🏼🇧🇷I loved the album, it's great to see Vibeke singing again... "The Lie Of Her Prosperity" , "Entirety", "Bryd" and "Sear The Fallen" are my favorites, I can't get tired of listening to "Dead Poetry" "...every day I listen to Spotify.🇧🇷🤘🏼 🖤

Realmente me encantó Dead Poetry un disco doom de mucha calidad y elegancia, los vocales de Vibeke son bellísimos y la instrumentación es muy seductora. Me gustó que Vibeke no tratara de colgarse a su faceta antigua en Tristania, haciendo todo exageradamente sinfónico o gótico, sino algo mas melancólico, nostálgico y que realmente nos cuenta una parte profunda de su vida lejos de los escenarios. Espero escuchar más material de parte suya en un futuro. Un digno regreso 💜🧿👌

I wasn't hoping the music would find its way to me (never been fond of Tristania or particularly of Vibeke's vocals), but finally it did ❤

He leído que la gente se queja de la producción. Yo si lo escucho bien. Sabía que no iba a ser "Tristania 2.0", así que no me llevé ninguna decepción. De hecho, me gustó más de lo que pensaba. Aun así, el fallo que le veo es que algunas canciones se parecen entre sí. Yo espero que la banda siga sacando material ♥

Olha, eu tô passado que teve viado com coragem pra reclamar dessa obra prima, entendo que demora pra digerir tudo, mas funciona. Deixei o Spotify no aleatório aqui, rolou um monte de banda, mas na hora que caiu Remorseful Heart saiu um quadradinho de oito involuntário. Que obra, irmãs, dá pra chorar e bailar ao mesmo tempo. Sério, muito impecável

Can't see why people complain about stuff. We were promised some oldschool doom metal (no gothic included sorry) and that's exactly what we got: an ascetic doom metal album much alike 90s my dying bride. If u don't like the genre okay fine but it doesn't make music bad.

Remorseful Heart is perfect! Best of the album.

For guitar lovers who love listening to guitars mechanics Dead Poetry is great album! because the whole vocales are pushed so much beneath the guitars sound, it's unbelievable. the album is very doomish and it isn't bad one but the mixing is not on the point at all. I believe the album detract enough grunts,with every guitar melody it feels there should have been grunts. Vibeke Stene vocales are charming and theatrical with great of warmth and I wish if she had joined forces with other bands so we can have more of her talent.

Hmm, the mixing sounds a bit off in places. It can be hard to make out what Vibeke is singing. Most of the songs sound the same too. So far the only one that appealed to me was Remorseful Heart.

There's a track by the end of the album that has some good elements, it's "Fey" maybe? As for the rest, I couldn't pay much attention because everything kinda sounds the same for me. Also, what's with those inaudible harsh vocals on some tracks (track 2 and 3 I guess)? Gotta listen to it more to have a better opinion, but for now: meh. :(

just because you can doesn't mean you should. This is wrong, bad songwriting, bad melodies, it doesn't even feel like a complete album because there is not a single coherent element throughout the whole thing. I love Vibeke's voice and it's great to hear her again but not like this.

I feel like if My Dying Bride had Vibeke as a singer, then "The Last Attempt" is pretty close to what that would sound like. Definitely not a bad thing, excited for the debut album!
