Actually, that installation is originally from 2005, but she did an hour+ interview in Swedish regarding the installation last year: "Swedish musician and artist Stina Nordenstam talks with curators Richard Julin and Tessa Praun. In this trialogue (conversation in three) Stina Nordenstam talks about her perception of time, her relationship to music, art and the world in general, as well as how she has been affected by the media attention." http://www.magasin3.com/en/blog/exhibitions/previous/on-the-tip-of-my-tongue/?postTabs=1
I've been digging Stina Nordenstams tunes for a some time now, and about a year ago when I started to wonder where she'd gotten to I reached an odd conclusion: what if her last album 'The World Is Saved' is actually some pessimistic opinion of her farewell from the music business. I mean the last the track is even called 'the end of a love affair'. Anyway I dont know if I still agree with this opinion, but I still do wonder what she's up to...
