    Another Playlist fortune:

How does the world see me?

    Song: Theme from the A-Team

    Artist: Mike Post

Comments: On the run from the government, loved by those in need...hardly true. Or they see me as a chesey 80's tv show, I'll let you decide. I'd have preferred Knight Rider though.

Will I have a happy life?

Song: Main Title - Theme from Star Wars and Leia's Nightmare

Artist: John Williams and Joel McNeely

Comments: I guess Star Wars has something to do with it. Why me? This is the track from the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack composed by Joel McNeely. My girlfriends' name is Leia...

What do my friends think of me?

    Song: Love lift us up

    Artist: Joe Cocker

Comments: How in the hell did that get on my playlist! I'm sure my friends think the same of me sometimes-"where'd the hell he come from?" Atleast I'm a loveable guy.

Do people secretly lust after me?

    Song: What It Takes

    Artist: Aerosmith

  • Do you agree?

A magazine I (accidentally) read at the ol' workplace (looking for Korn, Deftones, DIR EN GREY, Family Values Tour goodies, etc.) had a "comprehensive expert list" of the All-Time Top 10 Non-American/Non-British metal songs:

    10) Helloween - "Walls of Jericho"
    9) Hanoi Rocks - "A Day Late, A Dollar Short"
    8) Thin Lizzy - "The Boys Are Back in Town"
    7) Sepultura - "Roots Bloody Roots"
    6) AC/DC - "You Shook Me All Night Long"
    5) Loudness - "Crazy Nights"
    4) Accept - "Balls to The Wall"
    3) Rush - "Tom Sawyer"
    2) Scorpions - Rock You Like a Hurricane"
    1) AC/DC - "Highway to Hell"

I'm pitiful. I've only heard of three of those bands and... umm... does anyone think that's a decent list? Maybe recommend some more songs to me if you're fans of those artists? :)

And vordul is one of my top neighbo(u)rs... interesting...

God of the Week: Nathan Lane.

It's rather depressing to actually be doing this.....

    # - 4 AM by Our Lady Peace, this was one of my favorite songs back in high school. I suppose it's mostly holding on through sentimental value, since I've long since moved past the grunge/modern rock stage of my life. Still, a nice ballad with sad, affecting lyrics.
Honorable: Mindless Self Indulgence - 2 Hookers And An Eightball, Rush - 2112 Overture/The Temples of Syrinx, Nena - 99 Luftballoons.

A - Angeles by Elliott Smith, perhaps my favorite song by perhaps my favorite artist. Beautiful backing track, beautiful singing, affecting lyrics, this song has everything I look for. (I'm realizing this game is going to waste more time than I meant it to.. hunting through 1000 songs beginning with 'A' took awhile :/)
Honorable: Elvis Costello - Alison, Dream Theater - Another Day, K-Ci & JoJo - All My Life, Sugarhill Gang - Apache.

B - Billie Jean by Michael Jackson, Thriller was loaded down with great songs, but this is the one that got everything right. …
