I hope everybody reading this who has stanned taeil or supported him know that it's not your fault. I hope you don't feel guilty for liking him because you didn't know, NONE of us can ever know what a celebrity is truly like behind the curtains. So I hope that you're not too harsh on yourself. I say this here bcus my childhood best friend, ulted taeil for so many years and she was shattered when she saw the news. She has been dealing with trauma caused by men who hurt her since she was a kid and described taeil as someone that opened up her heart. Today, she learns the singer she respected is a sexual offender. Don't blame yourself. Instead, let's all hope and pray that the women in taeil's life, all the victims involved, get the utmost justice they deserve and he gets legal punishment for his crimes. I wish all the girls peace and healing, I'm so sorry.

and i will add: i hope SM eventually makes the connection that by standing by drunk drivers and SA freaks – even occasionally rewarding them with expedited solo careers! – they are fostering a dangerously permissive culture among their idols. kangin getting a bubble and lucas getting a big budget double MV debut tells people like taeil that it’s okay to victimize non-celebrities because even if you’re one of the unlucky ones to get caught, SM will still have your back. i know company leadership lacks that kind of situational awareness (or basic moral compass) but this sudden mess is as much a result of their policies as it is taeil’s personal mistakes, and his victim(s) and peers in NCT do not deserve that (and the fans neither)

absolutely same. im a bit late to the news, saw his name trending on twitter but i didn't look further into it until now. this is beyond fucked, so left field and quite literally the last person i'd expect for this to come from. and like you said above, if he got booted that quick, he must have done some weird shit. i hope the victim gets proper justice, and not something that ends up being forgotten in a couple months. in the mean time, the thought of listening to nct kind of irks me... don't think i'll be able to hear his voice the same way ever again.

I am so disappointed. NCT is my ult boy group. I've been known Taeil since the debut of NCT, and my feeling are ambivalent. I really hope he will be punished and justice will win. But at the same time I've been crying all day because it's emotionally hard to put a cross on a person you loved in one day. I feel betrayed, I cried and hoped Taeil would be healthy when he got in a bike accident, but all my tears were for a waste. He literally stabbed his members and czennies in the back. All precious memories of urichil, 8 fucking years just disappeared for nothing. I am so disappointed, Taeil, so disappointed... and you weren't even my bias because if you were I would fucking die from the pain and shame.

i didn't stan nct 127, but I hurt for their fans, i hurt for the people impacted by all this, and i hurt bc i'm not sure i can listen to them for the time being, as i loved their walk album. despite that, my personal hurt doesn't even matter bc most of all, i hurt for the victim. today, i think a lot about her and the six years of hell she has faced and the trauma she had and still has to go through. god, i wish nothing but peace, safety and love for her, every victim, and every woman going through this shit. again, fuck you, taeil. you will get what you fucking deserves.

yep! after woojin left the group in 2019, they re-recorded almost all of their pre-Levanter songs, this time as 8 members. SKZ2020 and SKZ2021 are essentially two compilation albums of them!

The agnes person on instagram that claims to have been spied on for 6 years by taeil is not the one who reported taeil to the police. She is a whole different person. Please do your research and stop spreading around things you simply saw from tweets or tiktok comments. The agnes person has a twitter as well—for the longest she has been saying taeil is hacking and watching her through her camera—people have known her for a while now for being very strange, and acting mentally unwell. But she also stated she never even met taeil in person because she lives in a quieter town due to paranoia. So clearly shes mentally unstable. She says nct has written songs about her and got7 had stolen a poem from her before. This agnes person is NOT the victim—spreading this could be harmful to the actual victim and ongoing case.

1. All we OFFICIALLY know, is that he has been under investigation since june as he was reported in june—sm was told recently once the police had found enough evidence. SM removed him once they received the news 2. All that we know is that he was charged for “sex crimes” no further details 3. The ONLY thing we know is that the victim is an adukt woman. The victim would not be active on social media 24/7 while an ongoing investigation is happening, so please, dont go around spreading this “6 years” thing. Not reliable and its baseless

Over the years kpop has really helped my mental health and I've formed some great friendships through it but it's important to remember you don't know these people, you don't know their real personalities. You can just hope they don't end up being shitty criminals

I'm actually glad that SM dropped him immediately but I'm also concerned that he's gonna get a slap on the wrist and get at most few years in prison then he just gonna enjoy his lavish life similarly to Seungri and JJY.
