"Philosopher My Arse" is a song by Welsh singer-songwriter MARINA. It was written by Marina Diamandis in 2006, the song was available on Diamandis' Myspace.
Marina had been writing songs since 2005 but only started producing her own songs in 2007, not the liking "awful prog rock band" production. She felt like producing her own songs allowed her to express herself better, this explains why despite being made in 2006 Troubled Mind, This is LA, Philosopher My Arse, Like China Dolls and Plastic Rainbow's demo are in much better quality than her 2007 songs. It was first mentioned in comments in 2006.
