Learning about existence of this band was one of few good things about Blait Witch 2: Book of Shadows :) Nice tune, I like their electro/synth/guitar sound. Or Industrial or whatever. They deserve more recognition.
@hsxeric: I don't think it's silly. Radio airplay or the selection of singles by artists/labels themselves also hardly ever corresponds to self-proclaimed-fan favorites, and individuals show a clear distinction in favorites still. Yet all last.fm claims it does is show top tracks by plays. That is what we call (an attempt to) an objective statistic. Even with some "favorite-track-per-artist" voting system, you'd still hear "Song X is NOT Artist Y's best song!" and even there you'd find disagreement among those agreeable. Then there is both systems' inherent susceptibility to foul play. Good luck to anyone caring.
Last.FM should have some system in place that takes account of soundtracks. Cuz most Godhead fans will tell you that Penetrate is NOT their best song. but it has thousands of plays because it was on a damn soundtrack. silly.
And, after not giving them the time of day for a long time, I am now a fan of Power Tool Stigmata & Nothingness. They are perfect for the fans who loved 2000 Years Of Human Error and weren't happy with the direction the band took after it's release.
does ANYONE have the "Eleanor Rigby" remixes?! i've been trying to find them.... w/ no luck. i think it was a U.S. promo cd (ie: don't think it was released anywhere but the states...)
I WANT THOSE TRACKS!! please? .....pretty please?!
Godhead rockss!! I love Jason Miller! he's so damm cool! All their albums are kick ass but I gotta admit i ddnt feel the same with their last one Edge of the World, i dont know....it ddnt sound the same as Shadow Line (which roxxx!!) or 2000 years of Human Error, they gotta come up like that!! Love Godhead always though!!
