• Bands I'm pure loving right now

    Noticed that I listen to a lot(ish) of music. Theres a few bands that I just love like fuck alas this journalthing.

    Biffy Clyro

    Anyone whos came in contact with me since mid-June 2007 will probably know me of being borderline obsessed with this band. Bloody love em. Aggressive in songs like Eradicate the Doubt, melodic in songs like All the Way Down Prologue Chapter One and downright insane in There's No Such Thing as a Jaggy Snake. I love vocal harmonies and aggressive almost punky guitar riffs so I listen to this band religiously.

    Tom Waits

    Downloaded Bone Machine out of curiousity, it freaked me out. Deleted it. Bought it for no reason and ended up liking it. Hes pretty strange. Started off folky, ended up playing the stuff you'd hear in a sleazy strip club circa 1950s New Orleans. Rain Dogs came along and exposed the bizarre influences he hinted at in Swordfishtrombones. That album is essential listening but most people would turn it off after hearing his vocals. …

    Dookie. Listening to Dookie when I was about 15. It was an amazingly fun summery album, and I still listen to it to this day. Thats why it's got so ma... oh wait...

    Why the hell have you listened to that so much?
    Because I've been listening Dookie for over 7 years and love it still.
