I thought this was just a bittersweet hopeful album. Last year BTS was about to disband because they were having mentally hard time under the pressure. Right after they made the decision to stay for the fans, they worked immediately on this album. They said it was a present to their fans. And it was... Until I listened to the podcast with Dr. Murray Stein analyzing the lyricism of this album. I'm mindblown. I thought it was good but a little bit rushed album. But I was so wrong. It's very well thought art more than just album/tracks to jam in! I thought I knew BTS & that I understand their album very well because of my 3 years fan experiences. Boy, I was wrong. I connect to their album Tear the most. But this is their best album. It's beyond music. Huge respect!
