Kyuss albums. All very different! But the one i reckon is the most accessible is the cricus leaves town. wretch is quite 'raw' and not in a good way. Blues for the red sun works well for me, lots of good sounds on there. hey, they're all good!! ;)

Hi there, the first UNKLE album Psyence Fiction is worth a listen - that has DJ Shadow all over it...also RJD2's Deadringer, Massive Attack's Mezzanine, Portishead, Death In Vegas, Thom Yorke's solo album, Soulsavers, The Knife, Trentemoller, Leftfield, The Cinematic Orchestra, Bonobo. Not all of these sound exactly like Shadow, but are certainly as dark and brooding.
