I always align with diversity, but have to admit I have become a fan of Stefan Poiss. Both MIAB/THYX output is proudly solid over the years (and Broken Legacies prove this one more time) and there are always some older less played tracks to kick you like the first time as hidden gems.
"Broken Legacies" is huuge. As expected, but mind.in.a.box once again proves that my expectations are always too tiny for their ambitions, giving us really passionate and emotionful album. Solid candidate for AOTY!
New MIAB is great. I also like it more than Revelations, which is still a great album and just took longer to mature on me & appreciate, but agreed, 'Memories' sounds as close to the 'Crossroads' album as anything has in years.
I also don't agree with it sounding too much like THYX.. THYX and MIAB share some qualities, mostly the voice-manipulation and robotic effects, that theme is shared, but this newest Mind in a box effort, shares a lot in common with prior MIAB release Crossroads, both in it's artwork, soundscape, and concept. If I heard two tracks back to back from both artists, I could easily tell you which was MIAB and which was THYX, they're not exactly the same..
