Wilderun wurde 2008 von Sänger und Gitarrist Evan Berry konzipiert, kam aber erst Anfang 2012 zum Tragen, als sich der Gitarrist und Orchestrator Wayne Ingram, der Bassist Dan Müller und der Schlagzeuger Jon Teachey mit Evan zusammenschlossen. Im Herbst 2012 veröffentlichten Wilderun ihr Debütalbum „Olden Tales & Deathly Trails“, gefolgt von „Sleep at the Edge of the Earth“. und planen, diese Tour im Jahr 2016 fortzusetzen.
