Terra Atlantica was founded in the end of 2014 when drummer Nico and singer Tristan decided to leave their former band and start a new project. The crew was completed by bassist Nick and guitarist Mike and soon the concept of singing about Atlantis and other nautical themes evolved, including the optical implementation on stage. A first demo containing three songs was released in the middle of 2015, shortly followed by Terra Atlantica’s first appearance on stage at the Baltic Hell Open Air festival.
