Tankdriver was born in the cold days of February 2008 when Daniel, Bill and Tom started working on some original ideas we had. As the Tank started rolling, we started working hard on the basics of our first demo with three great songs. In August 2008 we recorded those tracks under the guidance of the famous Manfred Schulz. Daniel (drums) had to leave the band due to personal reasons, but we decided to keep things rolling and stuffed Nico into our old tank in December '08 (before he could get away) and started on the mixing of the demo.
